Tom Latham – Creative Director
Award winning designer (D&AD ‘Best New Blood’) Tom is the founder and creative director of Hellotank. Tom has over a decade of commercial experience, specialising in design for web and digital, and working with clients worldwide.
He started his career at seewhatyoumean.co.uk where he was an integral part of the team that won an ‘FWA Site of the day’ award for the Broadband Wales campaign. He spent a further 3.5 years honing his digital skills at innivo.com before setting up Hellotank in 2008.
Tom has worked with clients ranging from start ups, charities and SMEs to large organisations such as American Express, EADS, BT and NHS. He has excellent ongoing working relationships with design agencies in the South West region.
Katherine Latham – Copywriter
An award winning writer (Guardian Travel Writing Special Edition: Runner Up, Wales Blog Awards: Best Sports Blog), Katherine has worked with clients small and large from independent artists and start ups, to the Guardian and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD).
Katherine has 10 years experience of producing creative copy for marketing and press/PR. She writes for web and print, and can design and deliver strategic social media plans.
Joe Hawes – Developer
Joe is on hand as Hellotank’s freelance front-end and coding expert. He specialises in PHP, HTML, Javascript and CSS, e-commerce sites, WordPress and other content management systems.
Joe has a great understanding of design. This enables him to make sure his code is pixel perfect and above all functional.
Pete Withers-Jones – Developer
As an expert in all things code, Pete’s key skills include the development of deployed software, web-based sites and application design – PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Actionscript, mobile app development, accessibility and search engine optimisation.
With 11 years of experience, Pete has worked on some major projects such as the development of NHS software that has been accepted both in the UK and internationally for use within medical environments. Pete is now technical director of Ethos Digital Technology and works with Hellotank on projects large and small.
